About the project
Conceived in 2025, Unity captures the zeitgeist of a world in flux. Whether through narrative, visual art, or conceptual exploration, it weaves together themes of empowerment, identity, and connection. Each element is crafted to provoke thought and inspire action, offering a lens into the human experience. I will take you on a story telling adventure where you will witness in detail the treatment in humane the likes of which the world has never seen, some of it interactive and some silently considered with input of viewers about how they would feel and what each subject sought to gain for themselves, their collectives and their fallen heros. sections will be age restricted
💖 Unity LGBTQ: Campaigning for Good, Fighting for Fair
Welcome to Unity LGBTQ — where advocacy meets action, and compassion becomes a campaign. We are not just an organisation. We are a movement. A collective of fire-hearted individuals working in solidarity to carve a new standard for justice, dignity, and inclusion in workplaces across Australia — and beyond.
Whether you're a queer-identifying person navigating an unfair workplace, a company looking to lead the charge on inclusion, or a passionate ally with fire in your soul for equity, Unity LGBTQ is your partner, your voice, and your champion.
✊ Our Mission
Unity LGBTQ exists to be a bold support system, powerhouse organiser, informed advocate, and unapologetic activist for LGBTQ+ people — with a special focus on industrial relations, workplace equity, and social justice. Our collective believes that the battles for equality are fought both at the negotiation table and in the hearts of every workplace.
That’s why we're here: to stand beside you, fight for fairness, and campaign for good.
⚙️ What We Do
We specialise in workplace advocacy and support, including:
Acting as bargaining representatives during enterprise agreement negotiations.
Providing guidance through mediation, arbitration, and dispute resolution — especially in cases of unfair dismissal, unlawful workplace conduct, and general protections claims under the Fair Work Act.
Partnering with reputable specialist law firms in workplace and injury matters — ensuring your case is handled with expertise, empathy, and precision.
From the boardroom to the break room, we help individuals and companies navigate the tricky terrain of industrial relations with confidence, clarity, and courage.
🌐 How We Deliver
We’re embracing modern tech to make help more accessible than ever.
Services will be provided primarily through a secure telehealth-style mobile application or Zoom consultations, so support is just a tap away. Whether you're in a big city office or a remote rural community, we’re here to listen, advise, and stand beside you without barriers.
Our tools include:
Real-time support requests
Secure document sharing
Flexible appointment scheduling
Payment structure options
In-app fee reduction mechanisms, available by mutual consent
Your privacy, dignity, and comfort are at the core of our digital services.
🛡️ Specialisation: More Than Just Compliance
We’re not just ticking boxes — we’re redefining what it means to foster truly inclusive workplaces.
Unity LGBTQ aims to dominate the industry in Diversity & Inclusion, and Bullying & Harassment prevention. Our programs don’t just meet the standard — they set it. Think bold campaigns, transformative workshops, and accredited workplace policies that make companies proud to hang our seal on their accreditation wall.
But that's not all — we’re preparing to launch an entirely new area of workplace engagement, one we believe every business will soon want as part of their identity. It’s forward-thinking, transformative, and (for now) a closely held secret. Watch this space.
💼 Not-for-Profit? Not Exactly.
Let’s be clear: Unity LGBTQ is not a not-for-profit. But we are also not for political gain. We will never bankroll political parties or trade our values for influence.
Instead, we will reinvest in our collective purpose — supporting causes that matter most to our community, with transparency and integrity.
We pledge to use donations and selected fee structures to fund:
Grassroots LGBTQ+ initiatives 🌈
Aboriginal empowerment and cultural resurgence 🔆
Homelessness relief projects 🏕️
Mental health advocacy and education 🧠
“Fix-it-now” campaigns for urgent community needs ⚡
When companies partner with Unity LGBTQ, they’re not just hiring a service — they’re backing a movement.
👐 Inclusive, Impactful, and Community-Led
Unity LGBTQ begins with volunteer spirit and grassroots strength. Ian — our founder and passionate organiser — will be volunteering his time in the launch phase and seeking to gather mob: both Aboriginal leaders and the fabulous Glitter movement to build momentum and create real, meaningful jobs.
We're building with pride, culture, and connection — forging opportunities that empower rather than exploit.
🤝 Fees and Flexibility
We believe in fair fees and mutual understanding. All member service fees will include mechanisms for reduction based on mutual consent — directly within the Unity LGBTQ app.
This ensures services remain accessible, while maintaining the sustainability of our work. Payment plans, donation-based support, and corporate packages are available for organisations committed to real change.
📢 Why Unity LGBTQ?
Because we’re doing things differently.
We speak up when others stay silent.
We act when others procrastinate.
We refuse to separate social justice from industrial justice.
We centre LGBTQ+ and Aboriginal voices in decision-making.
We collaborate rather than compete.
And above all, we campaign for good — in workplaces, policy spaces, and public arenas.
Unity LGBTQ is built for those who have been overlooked, underserved, and underestimated. Whether you’re an individual who’s been unfairly treated, a company genuinely committed to inclusion, or someone who just wants to make a difference — this is your movement.
🔮 The Future We’re Building
We envision a future where:
Every company includes Unity LGBTQ accreditation on its walls.
LGBTQ+ workers have empowered representation in bargaining rooms.
Aboriginal leaders help drive workplace change from within.
Mental health and homelessness advocacy are integral to business practices.
D&I isn’t a checkbox — it’s a culture.
This isn’t just possible. It’s already happening — and we want you to be part of it.
🧡 A Final Word from Ian
“Unity LGBTQ was born from frustration and hope — frustration at seeing people silenced, mistreated, and burned out by bad systems, and hope in knowing that together, we can build something extraordinary. I believe in this movement with all my heart, and I pledge that our members will be proud of every achievement this collective hangs on its wall. It’s not about profit. It’s about purpose. It’s not about campaigns for clicks. It’s about Campaigning for Good.”
Thank you for being here, thank you for believing, and thank you for joining a movement that matters.
Let’s make history together.
